Apple Music for Artists is your home base on Apple's platform. Claim it. It's free and it unlocks tools most artists don't know exist.
To claim your profile:
Approval typically takes 1–2 weeks. Your music must be live on Apple Music for at least 5 business days before you can claim.
Your artist page Upload your artist photo, update your bio, and control exactly how fans see you. Your artist image should be 2400x2400 pixels, JPG or PNG.
Analytics See who's listening, where they are, and how your music is performing — broken down by plays, listeners, demographics, location, and radio spins. The Listening Now feature shows exactly how many people are streaming your music at this very moment, with a minute-by-minute view of the last 48 hours.
Shazam data See how often your songs are being identified by listeners around the world. Shazams are an early signal — they often show momentum before streams catch up.
Radio spins Find out which radio stations are playing your music and how often. Data most artists never check — but should.
Milestones When you hit something big — a playlist placement, a streaming milestone — Apple Music for Artists surfaces it so you can share it directly with fans on social media.
Promote Create custom promo assets for any of your releases and share them straight to your social channels. Available in seven languages — useful if your audience spans multiple markets.
Set List playlists Turn your live show set list into a playlist on Apple Music for Artists. Share it with fans before or after a show. A simple way to keep the energy going beyond the stage.
Lyrics You can deliver your lyrics directly to Apple Music so fans can follow along while they listen.
Motion artwork Go beyond a static cover. You can deliver motion artwork — animated visuals — for your albums and artist page on Apple Music.
SongDis also delivers your music to the iTunes Store for digital download sales.
Want your music available for purchase — not just streaming? Make sure you include the iTunes Store when selecting your platforms during upload.
Let fans add your release to their library before it drops.
Submit your release with a future release date and select Apple Music. To run a pre-add, submit at least 3 weeks before your release date. The earlier you submit, the more time fans have to find it.
Releasing an album? You can designate up to 3 tracks as instant gratification tracks — songs fans can access immediately when they pre-order on iTunes, before the full album drops.

Apple Music supports Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos — a three-dimensional sound experience that makes your music hit differently on headphones and speakers.
If your release is mixed in Dolby Atmos, let our team know at help@songdis.com and we'll guide you through delivering it correctly.
Your release should appear within 5–7 business days after passing our review.
If it's been longer than that, check that your release passed our review process and was delivered without errors. Then contact us at help@songdis.com — a real person will look into it.
