Royalty Reports – How SongDis Tracks & Compiles Your Streaming Earnings

How We Calculate and Compile Reports

Royalty Reports

Every stream. Every platform. One place.

Hundreds of streaming platforms. One clean statement in your dashboard.

No chasing reports. No spreadsheets from five different sources. Everything in one place, updated automatically as platforms report in.

How reporting works

Streaming platforms report royalties to distributors every month — but the data doesn't always arrive on time. Most platforms run 2–4 months behind the actual streaming period.

Streams from January may not fully appear until March or April. That's not SongDis — that's how the industry works.

The moment a platform sends us your data, we process it and update your dashboard. No extra delay on our end.

First release? Your first report takes about 3 months.

If this is your first release on SongDis, your first royalty report will take approximately 3 months to appear.

This isn't a delay on our end. We wait to collect reports from every DSP your music is on before showing you anything, so what you see is complete, not partial. We'd rather provide you the full picture than an incomplete number.

After your first report, everything updates on a rolling basis as platforms continue to report in.

What you see in your dashboard

Total Earnings Every royalty collected to date is represented by a single number.

Monthly Breakdown: Your earnings month by month, across all platforms.

DSP Breakdown See exactly which platforms are paying you and how much.

Track-level Reporting Streams and earnings per track. Know which songs are working.

Territory Breakdown See where your music is earning in the world. Country by country.

Why your balance moves throughout the month

Different platforms report at different times. Spotify and Apple Music typically come in within 1–2 months. Smaller platforms sometimes take longer.

Your dashboard updates the moment each platform's report lands. So your balance may increase at any point — not just at the start of the month. That's not a glitch. That's your money arriving.

Downloading your reports

Head to the Reports section of your dashboard and export your full royalty report as a CSV file.

It includes stream counts, earnings, platform names, ISRC codes, and territory data. Everything you need for your records — or your accountant.

All earnings are shown in USD

Royalties earned in other currencies are converted to USD at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment. For full details on conversion fees, see our Currency & FX page.
