Music is global. Payments aren't always simple.
DSP pays royalties in USD.
SongDis applies a 1% FX conversion fee on all royalties received in non-USD currencies. This covers the cost of converting. No surprises.
Some DSPs—like US Spotify streams—pay directly in USD. Those royalties are not subject to any FX conversion fee.
If it comes in as USD, it goes out as USD. Simple.
Rates move daily. SongDis uses live market rates at the time of conversion.
We don't hold your royalties to wait for a better rate. Funds are converted as they arrive from DSPs and moved to you as quickly as possible. Your money shouldn't sit waiting.
When you're ready to withdraw, SongDis processes your payout in Naira—directly to your local bank account.
A fixed transfer fee of ₦14,000 (~$10.41 USD) applies per withdrawal. This is a one-time processing fee charged by our banking partner to move funds internationally and convert them into Naira for local settlement.
This fee is fixed. It doesn't change based on how much you withdraw. So the more you withdraw at once, the less it costs you proportionally.
A simple tip: Let your earnings build, then withdraw in fewer, larger transfers. It saves you on fees every time.
